Biography of Aris Valentino

Aris Valentino (born 4 February, 2001) is an upcoming artist from Germany and he is all about Rock’n’roll!. Catchy instrumentals paired with his powerful voice make up for a new vibe of rock music with a modern day sound. Aris is currently signed to his own Label FTF Records, where he is also active as a songwriter.

Aris Valentino's music career began in 2021 with his first debut-song titled Showtime which was released on November 26, 2021 featuring a music video.

1. Life and Career

Aris Valentino was born in Oberhausen, on February 4, 2001. Since early on he was affiliated with music but it was not until he was 15 when he really started making music.

"I loved music since I was born and listen to music all the time". He started out making music around 2015 with an app called Garageband on his phone. From there on he discovered his passion and wrote songs every day. 

In summer of 2019 the basis for his further career was set when he met the Rapper Vince and the sound engineer Felix. Aris and Vince met coincidentally at a party, after which they exchanged contacts and made some music together. Next to making their own music they wrote and produced songs for various artists, thus making them found the label FTF Records. Their record label now has 5 artists under contract. 

In the same year Aris made the first steps towards his career as a solo artist by recording his first vocals on his songs. In December he finally decided to take singing lessons and work on his voice. Just a few months after he also began to learn the guitar. 

After almost two years of constant practicing and songwriting it was the demo version of the song now called Showtime which would eventually be released as his first song in November of 2021. Written together with his label-partner Vince the song would set the stage for Aris and mark the beginning of his career as an artist. Showtime features a music video.

A few Singles followed including 6ft Deep in Love, She’s dramatic and I don’t care when Aris promoted his first debut-album Rock is Red with the two Singles Trouble and Nervous in March of 2022. In this time-span the young musician first gained international attention with people from all over the world listening to his music and sharing their enthusiasm on social media. On April 14 Aris released his debut-album Rock is Red. 

2. Artistry (Musical styles and genres)

Aris Valentino’s music is generally described as Rock/Pop, but he often finds himself writing songs with elements of other genres. He describes his influences coming from a large variety of genres. Hip-Hop, as he started out making Rap-Beats in the beginning still is an influence for his music as the artist states. He also states that Blues and Funk partially influence his musical style.

1. What do you do in your free time apart from making music?

-         It depends, music takes up a lot of time but I am really a sports guy. So going to the Gym or playing soccer definitely! Of course also spending time with friends or family!

2. What is your favourite food?

-         My go-to answer is always Pizza, nothings better than an authentic italian Pizza, but honestly there are so many delicious foods I can’t decide.

3. What are you afraid of?

-         Especially when we went to Spain to shoot the music videos up in the mountains I realized that heights are actually really freightening to me. So I have to say heights.

4. What is a fun-fact most people don’t know about you?

-         I was actually a semi-professional ice hockey player here in Germany and even had the honor to play a few games for the under 16 national team.

5. What is your favourite Movie and TV series?

-         I really loved the Joker and also Bohemian Rhapsody. As fort he TV series I got to go with the german series called Stromberg, it’s kind of like The Office.

6. What is your fandom called?

-         We had a vote once in a livestream and the results were Valentino Gang!

7. What is your favourite song?

7        It’s difficult because my favourite song always changes from week to week, but for now I’d say it is Supermodel by Maneskin.

8. Who is your favourite male and favourite female artist?

-                          Freddie Mercury and female i’d go with Rihanna

9. What was your favourite subject in school?

-                       Both history and physical education!

10. What was your least favourite subject?

-                       Probably Chemistry

11. Who was your celebrity crush groing up?

-         Haha good one, I think maybe Natalie Portman or Emma Watson

12. If you could have a dinner with any person (dead or alive) who would it be?

-         Either Freddie or actually a German actor called Christoph Maria Herbst, he is really the funniest person ever so that could be a humorous evening
